Airplane Animation Project
Goal
This animation is intended to effectively promote Air Seoul's new route (Seoul-Toronto) starting in March 2025, capturing customers' attention and encouraging reservations. It aims to raise awareness about the existence of the new Seoul-Toronto route, emphasizing the expansion of Air Seoul's international airline network, and highlighting the competitive edge of Air Seoul compared to other airlines, encouraging customers to choose Air Seoul.
Problem Statement
Although the new Seoul–Toronto route has been introduced, awareness of Air Seoul’s expanded international network may still be limited among potential customers. Since several airlines already operate similar long-haul routes, there is a risk that the new route could easily be overlooked without clear and compelling communication.
Expected outcome
The animation is intended to clearly announce the launch date of the new Seoul–Toronto route and increase overall awareness of the route’s addition to Air Seoul’s network. By presenting the information in a visually engaging way, it aims to capture attention and ensure that potential travelers recognize that the route is now available.
Design Rational
The color palette uses white color to provide a neutral, clean background that enhances readability and allows key elements to stand out, while green adds a touch of sophistication and freshness, aligning with Air Seoul's brand image.
Roboto is used throughout the majority of the animation for its readability and modern appearance. This typeface maintains a consistent and professional look across the animation, making the information easily accessible to the audience. Montserrat is utilized exclusively in the final scene for the company name. Its distinct and stylish look provides a strong and memorable conclusion to the animation.
The layout is designed to be landscape-oriented, with dimensions of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a duration of 20-30 seconds, optimized for various digital platforms. The animation utilizes secondary actions like flicker & glow and blur & opacity to add visual interest and guide the viewer's attention to important elements. Additionally, track matt techniques are incorporated to seamlessly integrate text and imagery, creating a cohesive and dynamic visual experience.
